2nd Place in Print Competition

At the Ready

With help from my friend, and very talented photographer, Randy Wong, I entered my first PPA regulation print competition at my local PPA affiliate, PPGBA (Professional Photographers of the Greater Bay Area).  I had never entered any live print competition and now I think I may be hooked! The excitement, anticipation and rush I got as my print was being critiqued could be a little addicting.

The print I entered was of the image above and it was taken at the Marin Headlands in Northern California. I scored an 80 in the competition which was just enough to earn a merit and put me into second place that night in the illustrative image category.
