Last Saturday Jen had to run some errands and I wanted to go out and shoot for a bit, so I took the boys with me and we hit a couple spots that I had been scouting in my travels. With the daylight soon coming to a close, I decided to stop off at a park in Foster City and try to grab a shot of the tallest building there from across the water.
While killing time waiting for the light to be just right at sunset I managed to grab a few shots of other things which, to the my boys’ dismay did not include the two dead birds they found. I don’t know what the deal is but it seems like everywhere we went that day they were finding dead stuff!
I finally felt that the sun had set enough and snapped a few pics of that building but I wasn’t confident that I had gotten what I wanted and with tripod in hand I turned to leave. As soon as I turned to my left, I set the tripod back down, composed and immediately shot the pics for this HDR.
Suddenly, I was happy about the effort I made and was ready to pack it in and call it a day.
HDR Info: 3 RAWs combined with Photomatix and spot corrected with Photoshop by layered exposure blending. Shot on a tripod.
